JK Public School, Kunjwani Jammu is celebrating 25 years of glory in the field of education. As a sequel to the same, the school has been inviting various renowned personalities to develop life skill abilities and positive behaviour among the students to equip them to meet the challenges of 21st Century.

In continuation to the above, JK Public School, Kunjwani invited world renowned Astronaut, Wing Commander Rakesh Sharma for a workshop-cum-motivation talk with students all over the J&K State on Wednesday, 19 Apr 2017 at JK Public School Kunjwani.

The workshop was organised in Nelsum Exquisite Millennium Hall in which 25 schools and colleges from Jammu participated and conducted by Wing Commander Rakesh Sharma ,the first Indian to go in Space .
The event comprised of two sessions in which Wing Commander Rakesh Sharma shared the memoirs of his journey from student life to space flight, his experience during the flight ,qualitative requirement of becoming an Astronaut ,importance of focus , discipline and commitment in one’s life . It was a rare and unique opportunity for the students to meet the legend and go through the journey of space . A healthy interactive session was conducted with the students, they asked numerous questions about the space and associated aspects. It was indeed a very satisfying experience.
