LABOUR DAY CELEBRATION

The Labour Day was celebrated at JK Public School with zeal and verve.
The function started with a special morning assembly by class XI students.
Ms Shashi Choudhary, Director JK Educational Society congratulated the staff and the students of JKPS on this May Day .She appreciated the hard work and dedication of the workforce towards the school .
In her address, she repeated the words of Martin Luther that no work is insignificant all labour that uplifts humanity has dignity and importance and should be undertaken with painstaking excellence. She briefed that the above words were said more than fifty years ago but has significance even today; Further, she told about the importance of ‘Dignity of Labour’ and how Mahatma Gandhi personally practiced it by cleaning toilets in Sabarmati Ashram . She asked the students to honour all the workers of our society who make our lives comfortable and livable. She applauded the workers’ relentless services for making the organization work so smoothly .She added that they work with dignity and we respect their hard work and zeal. Also she urged the students to take a pledge on this historic day that they will try to maintain the property of school and keep the campus neat and clean
Ms Shashi Choudhary, Director JK Educational Society, felicitated the workers of school for commendable services in the morning assembly.
Later a High Tea was served to the work force of school.
