24th Annual Day celebration of JK Public School, Kunjwani was organized on 29th & 30th Dec 2015 at Nelsum Exquisite Millenium Auditorium, in the school premises – a grand celebration which saw the young JKiians twinkle on the stage of the auditorium.

From tiny toddlers to young JKiians, the event encouraged, gave rewards and an opportunity to the students to showcase their talent.

The event opened on 29th Dec 2015 with lighting of lamp by the Chief Guest, Chowdhary Zulfkar Ali, Minister of CAPD and Tribal Affairs. The Minister adjured the teachers to exhort the students to explore their potential and channelize it in a positive direction. The colourful bonanza presented by the students and staff in the form of dance and song was appreciated by the Minister and he said that the students should be motivated for the co-scholastic activities and appropriate environment should be provided to them to help explore their talents.

Mr. S.K Singh, the school’s principal, read out the annual report highlighting the major achievements of the school during the previous academic year in scholastic and co-scholastic areas and reiterated the importance of parental engagement with the school.

Later, the Minister along with Mr. Raj Daluja, the Chairman, distributed prizes amongst the students for their achievements in academics and extracurricular activities.

Continuing with the annual day celebrations for the second day, the Chief Guest for 30th Dec 2015 was Mr. Bali Bhagat, Minister of Social Welfare, Forest, Ecology and Environment who lighted the lamp for traditional start of the events. The Minister applauded the performance of the school and appreciated the teachers and coaches for nurturing the talents of the students.

He made a special mention that he had visited various schools in the state but JK Public School, Kunjwani stood tall as one of the best schools in the country where overall development of a child is ensured in the truest sense of word.

While addressing the audience he focused on the conservation of the environment and in this regard he appealed to the audience to use special occasions like birthdays/ anniversaries for planting trees. The minister along with the Chairman distributed trophies and laptops to the top achievers who excelled in curricular and co-curricular activities in JK Public School. At JK Public School, Kunjwani, students of Class 12th who do well from Class 10th onwards are given laptops as special incentives.

On the second day celebration of the annual day Principal, Mr. S.K Singh again presented the school report for the previous session and also marked the future initiatives for the development of the school. Remarkable performances were presented by the JKiians in form of dances and songs. The audience was thrilled by the Kaleidoscope of activities as a one-off event

Chairman JK Educational Society, Mr. Raj Daluja, Director Brig. Sukhdev Singh along with other members of management, staff and parents attended the two days function.

The 24th Annual Day was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm and concluded with a great sense of achievement.
