Another achievement for JKPS in “ Khelo India” Tournaments
These events are conducted to appreciate and encourage the budding players to participate in different sports categories and to develop spirit of sportsmanship in them.
J K Public School, Kunjwani also supports this mission and encourages its students to participate in tournaments. Different sports competitions were organized by the Sports Council, JK under “Khelo India Scheme”. More than 2000 athletes and players participated in this event and bagged medals and trophies.
The JKIANS actively participated in various events under this and brought laurels to school by winning 5 Gold, 5 Silver and 3 Bronze medals
In football Match (U-19 Boys) team clinched the winner’s Trophy followed by Girls (U-19) with Runners up Trophy.
In Basket ball (U-19 Girls) bagged Third Position.
Aayushi Rajput won Gold medal in High Jump and Silver in 4x100m relay race .Arya Mahajan won Gold in 100m, Bronze in 200, and Silver in 4x100m relay race.
Ayush Kour also showcased his talent and true sportsmanship by clinching Gold in Short Put, Bronze in Long Jump .Kesar Singh showed this skills and bagged Bronze in High Jump .Rashi Vaid bagged 2 Gold medals in 100m and Long Jump. Shiny Jamwal clinched Siver in Discus Throw .Zara Mir won 2 Silver in 200M and 400mrespsctively .Nikhira won Silver in 4x100m
The Management, Principal and Staff congratulated the winners and appreciated the hard work of the students. They applauded the efforts of their coaches Elijah Sotra and Shivdev Singh.
