The school celebrated ‘Prakash Utsav’ of Guru Nanak Dev with religious fervor and gaiety. A special assembly was organized in the school campus to mark the birthday celebration of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. The students were dressed up in colourful Punjabi attires. A warm welcome speech with a glimpse of the Sikh history was given to enlighten the students about the historical background and teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. It was followed by a soul touching melodious kirtan by the teachers and holy shabads by a group of students.The spiritual ambience of the devotional bhajans and Ardas rented a religious fervor in the air and the whole gathering. The function ended by the distribution of ‘Kadah Parshad’ to one and all.
